ECAT's guide training program takes you from Iceland's glaciers to Germany's alpine terrain to Switzerland's mountain ranges, building the technical skills, certifications, and business foundation you need to launch your adventure guiding profession anywhere in the world.

The ECAT Difference

At ECAT, the world is your classroom. Over 6 months, you will train in the field across three of the world's most demanding outdoor environments, under the mentorship of working professionals who combine technical expertise with real leadership experience.

Adventure tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world, expected to reach $1.6 billion in 2026. It also happens to be one of the few professions that requires the kind of human judgment, adaptability, and interpersonal skill that no algorithm can replace.
