Co-Founder, Head of Leadership and Program Development

Jacqui Coward is a leadership specialist and outdoor educator with a Master's degree in Leadership and a Bachelor's in Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership. As co-founder of ECAT, she brings extensive experience developing adventure training programs across Canada, Iceland, and Europe. Her diverse background includes competitive mountain bike and road cycling racing, as well as organizing ice-climbing events in Banff National Park.

Throughout her career, Jacqui has served as a university instructor, outdoor program manager, department director at an international school in Switzerland, and consultant for adventure guiding companies. She has designed innovative outdoor programs that bridge technical skills with leadership development, working with organizations ranging from educational institutions to government agencies. At ECAT, Jacqui leads courses on leadership, instructional skills, and outdoor business development, focusing on helping participants discover their strengths while building the professional capabilities needed for successful careers in adventure tourism.
